Rachel Hancock, DVM

Dr. Rachel Hancock, DVM, has been a dedicated member of the Banfield Pet Hospital team since 2019. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) before graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Professionally, Dr. Hancock is highly passionate about preventive care and veterinary dentistry, believing that true veterinary medicine is about giving more pets access to essential care while actively empowering and teaching owners how to provide that care at home. Outside of the clinic, she manages her own bustling home zoo of two dogs, a cat, a bird, and two rats, and enjoys spending her free time playing video games, watching scary movies, and exploring local coffee shops.
